Like many health conscious shoppers, our founder Demetrius has seen the documentaries and lawsuits involving the deadly chemicals in the food supply we give our families. It wasn't until one rainy winter day when he was tasked to participate in this deception at a big box grocery store that his perspective would forever change.
First pulling from the shelves the spoiling produce, cutting off the rotten parts to submerge into a chemical bath to then be electrocuted appearing bright and crisp once more.
From then on he would frequent farmers markets hunting for minimally to non-processed goods from real people. There was only one problem, these markets were only available once a week or less. He also noticed how friends and family members would have an abundance of produce growing in their own backyards, many times going to waste. Both of these observations led to the formation of the idea.. "Why can't we order from the farmers market online or even access all of this natural produce growing around the city?"
